Shimura Trouble is the 10th in the Rei Shimura series by Sujata Massey. I’ve quite liked this series, which I mostly read long ago in DTB. Shimura has dropped to £1.99 at Kindle UK. The early titles n this series won/were nominated for a bunch of awards.
And, if you don’t live in or travel to the UK, Shimura has been long-term at $2.99 at Kindle US, which is not too bad, although this is pretty old (2008) backlist…

The Pearl Diver is the seventh in this series, and it’s now $1.99 in the US. I really liked this series in DTB, but only a few of the titles go on sale very often – although those few go on sale a lot. But The Pearl Diver isn’t one of those, so I’d grab it fast if you want it.
