I don’t have time right now to write a series review, but suffice it to say that I really enjoy Simon Brett’s Blotto & Twinks series. (I like his other series too, especially his Mrs. Pargeter series, but this one is first among equals for me…) In lieu of the review, I’ll just say: “imagine what you would get if you spoofed a cross of PG Wodehouse with just about any Golden Age mystery writer, and that’s what the Blotto & Twinks series is…” And, if you think you’d like that, the first book in the series, Blotto, Twinks and the Ex-King’s Daughter, is on sale in the US today for $2.99.
This is still on sale in the US for $2.99, and also in the UK for £2.99, and in Canada for CAD$ 0.99. Woo-hoo for the Canadians!
