On the way to other things, I noticed an anthology of three stories by Aliette de Bodard, set in the world of her book The House of Shattered Wings, which goes on sale pretty often. I’ve read and really enjoyed her Obsidian and Blood series, but haven’t quite made it to reading any of her other books yet. In any case, the anthology, In Morningstar’s Shadow, appears to be a long-term freebie in both the US and UK. I’ve snagged it against the day I start reading this series.
Oh yeah, and the three stories are: The Face of Heaven, Paid Debts, and What Has to Be Done.
And she also has a book (The Dragon that Flew Out of the Sun and Other Stories) with three free Xuya stories on her Patreon site. The stories are the title story, The Dragon that Flew Out of the Sun, and also Ship’s Brother, and The Frost on Jade Buds. Info and links are in this MobileRead Forums post, and when I checked just now, the downloads still work.
The Citadel of Weeping Pearls, set in Aliette de Bodard’s Xuya universe, goes on sale in the US pretty often, and has just again dropped to $1.99 at Kindle and Kobo US. And it’s discountable at Kobo!

Servant of the Underworld is the first in de Bodard’s Obsidian and Blood series, which, per the OP, I have read and really liked. It has dropped to $1.99 at Kindle US: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01F9UVIZG
Unfortunately the second and third in the series pretty much never go on sale…so if you like the first one, you’ll have to look for the next two at your library or pay in the $6-sih to $7-ish range to buy them. Sigh!
Of Dragons, Feasts and Murders is a novella set in de Bodard’s Dominion of the Fallen world. It has dropped to $0.99 at Kindle and Kobo US, and it’s discountable at Kobo US.

The House of Shattered Wings is the first in de Bodard’s Dominion of the Fallen series. It’s £0.99 right now at Kindle UK: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00WERXESW
Servant of the Underworld is now on sale in both the US ($0.99) and the UK (£0.71). Keep in mind the note up above, though – the later titles in this series rarely go on sale, though, so finishing it out if you like the first one could be a tad pricey.

The Citadel of Weeping Pearls has just again dropped to $1.99 at Kindle US, but not (as of now, at least) at Kobo US. The link in the first comment up above is still good.
The House of Binding Thorns is the second in de Bodard’s Dominion of the Fallen series. It’s £0.99 at Kindle UK right now, probably as part of the new monthly deal, but I’d still grab it now if you want it!

De Bodard’s Fireheart Tiger is $1.99 right now in the US.

A Fire Born of Exile, by Aliette de Bodard, is described as a “standalone sci-fi romance”, however based on other books I’ve read by de Bodard, it’s probably more sci-fi than romance. In any case, it’s £0.99 in the UK right now. Oh yeah, and it’s set in de Bodard’s Xuya universe.
